Custom quilting is for quilts that need extra design attention, heirloom emphasis, show quilts, or quilting choices that respond to the piecing and story of the top.
Pricing
Custom work starts with the quilt.
Custom quilting starts at $0.06 per square inch. Pricing depends on quilt size, quilting density, and design complexity. Multiply the length by the width to estimate square inches.
A $50 minimum applies for labor, thread, and time on smaller quilts. Timing varies by project, but most quilts are returned within 3-6 weeks after arrival.
Process
Clear planning before stitching starts.
Prepare for finishing
Press the top and backing, square the backing, clip loose threads, and remove pins or basting threads.
Drop off by appointment
Local drop-off is most common. Shipping is also available when needed.
Pay after completion
Payment is accepted by Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check once the quilt is finished.
